Jaipur Police Arrests Anil Kumar Meena in ₹1.42 Crore Cybercrime Scam

On Wednesday, a special team from Jaipur police arrested 30-year-old Anil Kumar Meena, a wanted criminal involved in a cybercrime scam worth Rs1.42 crore. Meena, a native of Dholpur, had been on the run after committing the cyber fraud in Mumbai.

According to DCP (East) Gyan Chandra Yadav, the arrest was made by the Kho Nagoriyan police station team. Meena was apprehended in Jaipur and has been handed over to the Mumbai police for further investigation into the cybercrime case.

The arrest comes as part of an ongoing effort to apprehend cybercriminals operating across state lines, with Mumbai police pursuing the investigation of the scam that resulted in significant financial loss.

Meena’s capture is expected to help Mumbai police in their efforts to uncover more details of the cyber fraud and bring those responsible to justice.
