Jaipur NCB Seizes Narcotic Drugs Worth Rs14 Lakh, Arrests One

In a significant crackdown on narcotic drugs, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) conducted a raid in Jaipur on Tuesday, leading to the seizure of narcotic tablets and capsules worth Rs14 lakh. Acting on a tip-off received via the Manas portal, the NCB gathered intelligence and executed a strategic operation at Agarwal Medical and General Store in Nawal Vihar.

NCB Zonal Director, Ghanshyam Soni, confirmed the seizure of 3,552 narcotic tablets and capsules, valued at an estimated Rs14.2 lakh. During the operation, the authorities arrested Nawal Kishor Kumawat, the owner of the store, and launched an investigation into the source of the drugs.

Kumawat is currently being interrogated, and the NCB is working to uncover the network behind the drug smuggling operation in the area. Further inquiries are underway to apprehend other individuals involved in the narcotics trade.
