Troy, NY — Jahnye Griffin, a 21-year-old from Watervliet, has been indicted on multiple serious charges following an attack on March 24, 2025. According to Rensselaer County District Attorney Mary Pat Donnelly, Griffin faces charges including Attempted Murder in the 2nd Degree, Assault in the 1st Degree, Burglary in the 1st Degree, two counts of Robbery in the 1st Degree, and Strangulation in the 2nd Degree.
Griffin is accused of assaulting Jeffrey Bagley at his residence in Lansingburgh. The nature of the attack was violent, and Griffin is currently being held without bail at Rensselaer County Jail.
