Jacob Vahle Arrested in Missouri for Theft and Resisting Arrest

Jacob Vahle, a 33-year-old from Independence, Missouri, was taken into custody after attempting to evade the Missouri State Highway Patrol while towing a stolen trailer. According to the probable cause statement, troopers attempted to pull Vahle over on westbound Highway 36 around 9:30 a.m. for hauling a trailer reported stolen from Marion County.

Initially, Vahle tried to flee from the approaching trooper, but he eventually pulled over upon seeing a second patrol vehicle. He was arrested without further incident and is now held at the Caldwell County Detention Center.

Vahle faces charges of stealing and resisting arrest. His initial court appearance is scheduled for Thursday at 10 a.m. in Caldwell County.
