Jackson Crawford Arrested for Stolen Vehicle and Theft in Lubbock

LUBBOCK, Texas – Jackson Crawford, 32, was arrested by the Lubbock Sheriff’s Office on Sunday afternoon, facing charges of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Evading Arrest or Detention on Foot, and Theft of merchandise valued between $100 and $750.

Around 12:30 p.m., deputies responded to reports of a stolen vehicle at the Family Dollar store located in the 3400 block of Quaker Avenue. Upon locating the vehicle, deputies initiated a traffic stop. However, Crawford fled the scene on foot.

He was later found in the 4400 block of 31st Street, where he was taken into custody without further resistance.

Crawford was transported to the Lubbock County Detention Center, and both the stolen vehicle and merchandise from the Family Dollar have been recovered.
