Isaiah Scott, 26, Arrested in Connection to Charleston Shooting

Charleston Police have arrested 26-year-old Isaiah Scott in connection to a shooting that left one person hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

The incident occurred inside an apartment at the Bridgeview Village complex on North Romney Street. According to Sergeant Chris Stinson, police responded to the scene where they found the victim, who was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities say the victim’s condition remained critical as of Wednesday morning.

Scott, who remained at the scene with other individuals, was taken into custody and charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He was booked into the Al Cannon Detention Center.

An ongoing investigation is in progress as police work to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
