Irving Charles Williams Jr. Arrested for Continuous Child Abuse in Texas

CHEROKEE COUNTY, Texas — Irving Charles Williams Jr. has been arrested in Cherokee County on charges related to the continuous sexual abuse of a child.

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call on Sunday involving the sexual assault of a child. Deputies were able to identify Williams Jr. as the suspect.

Following the investigation, 2nd District Judge Chris Day issued an arrest warrant for Williams Jr. on Tuesday, which was swiftly executed. He faces charges of continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14 and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Williams is currently being held in the Cherokee County Jail with a bond set at $1,020,000. The case is ongoing as authorities continue their investigation.
