Iota Man Jamarcus Williams Arrested for Stealing $150K in ATVs

JEFF DAVIS PARISH, La. (KPLC) — Jamarcus Dwayne Williams, 31, of Iota, Louisiana, was arrested earlier this week after being accused of stealing five ATVs worth over $150,000. According to Louisiana State Police (LSP) spokesman Matt Gaspard, an investigation revealed Williams’ involvement in the ATV theft.

On December 12, authorities in Henrietta, Texas, contacted LSP after discovering the stolen ATVs. State troopers were able to recover all five stolen vehicles, along with a 40-foot flatbed trailer used during the crime.

Williams was arrested on December 14 and booked into the Jefferson Davis Parish Correctional Center. He faces five counts of illegal possession of stolen things and may face additional charges in Texas related to the theft. The investigation is ongoing.
