International Mobile Theft Ring: Rahul & Vaheed Arrested with Stolen Phones

In a significant bust, two men involved in an international mobile theft ring have been arrested, with 58 high-end smartphones stolen from the Delhi-NCR region recovered from their possession. The arrested individuals, acting as couriers for the gang, were responsible for transporting the stolen devices to Kolkata, West Bengal, where they were handed over to a Bangladesh-based criminal network.

The accused have been identified as Rahul (34), a resident of Tigri, and Vaheed (31), a resident of Sangam Vihar. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), Aditya Gautam, the two men were transporting the stolen phones to Kolkata under the direction of their gang leaders. The operation was part of an international racket managed by Muzahir alias Samir and Babu Khan, both residents of Sangam Vihar, who facilitated the supply of mobile phones to a Bangladesh-based network.

The arrest and recovery of the phones mark a major success in the investigation of this international mobile theft operation.
