Indiana Probation Officer Daniel Matz & Wife Arrested for Fraud

Clinton County, Ind. – Daniel Matz, a probation officer from Clinton County, and his wife, Kyleigh Matz, were arrested on Thursday on multiple felony charges, including welfare and Medicaid fraud. The arrests took place at a residence near Frankfort, Indiana, following a warrant for theft and fraud-related offenses.

Daniel Matz, 44, has been employed as a probation officer in Clinton County, while his wife Kyleigh, 33, was also taken into custody in Frankfort. Both face serious charges: Daniel is accused of welfare fraud, aiding in fraud, theft, and additional fraud-related offenses. Kyleigh faces three counts of welfare fraud, theft, Medicaid fraud, and forgery.

While Clinton County officials were responsible for the arrests, the Indiana State Police’s Lafayette Post led the investigation. Both individuals have been booked into the Clinton County Jail, but court records have not yet been updated to reflect the charges.
