A sadistic couple, Imaan Coley, 37, and Mohammed Khan, 24, have been sentenced to a combined 25 years in prison for a series of horrific crimes, including torture, false imprisonment, and extreme physical abuse.
The pair terrorized their victims over three months in 2023, subjecting them to brutal assaults. Coley held one woman captive for over two months, setting her on fire, forcing her to drink bleach, and depriving her of food. The victim was forced to sleep on the floor after her mattress was discarded, and Coley controlled every aspect of her life.
In another instance, the couple stormed a woman’s home, attacked her, and stole her belongings—including her three cats. During the assault, the woman was humiliated and forced to strip while they removed her body piercings. She was also made to drink cleaning chemicals and had her nose broken in a violent attack.
In perhaps the most disturbing act, one victim was forced to urinate in another victim’s mouth under Coley’s orders.
Separately, Khan carried out a vicious hammer attack on a man, leaving him with severe injuries.
Coley, formerly of Benton Road, was sentenced to 14 years, while Khan, previously of Barrow Road, received 11 years. Both were deemed “dangerous offenders” and given an additional four-year extended license period.
Judge Peter Cooke, who presided over the case at Birmingham Crown Court, described their actions as “astonishingly inhumane” and labeled the crimes as torture.
Despite maintaining her innocence, Coley was convicted of false imprisonment, assault, and administering a noxious substance, among other charges. Khan admitted to grievous bodily harm with intent, administering a noxious substance, and burglary.
Both defendants had troubled pasts, with Khan struggling with drug addiction and Coley relapsing into criminal behavior after serving a previous sentence.
The sentencing marks the end of a harrowing case, with authorities ensuring the victims receive justice for the horrific abuse they endured.
