An Idaho man, Frank Cunningham, 41, was arrested in Spokane on Saturday and will be extradited to Kootenai County to face charges of rape and video voyeurism. Cunningham is accused of recording incidents involving his victim, which led to the issuance of an arrest warrant on February 7.
Detectives from the Coeur d’Alene Police Department, along with multiple law enforcement agencies, conducted the investigation. Cunningham, a resident of Coeur d’Alene, was known to frequent the Spokane area. He was apprehended near South Thor Street and East Third Avenue in Spokane on February 8.
Cunningham faces three counts of rape and three counts of video voyeurism. He is currently being held in the Spokane County Jail, awaiting extradition to Kootenai County.
United States Marshal for the District of Idaho, Brent Bunn, commented, “The arrest of this suspect will help bring justice to the victim in this despicable crime.”
