Hyderabad Man Arrested for Job Scam in Siddipet District

The Siddipet police have arrested a man for allegedly defrauding two unemployed individuals by promising them jobs as office subordinates. The accused, Joravanthula Satyanarayana, 50, hails from Old Alwal in Hyderabad and is originally from Timmapur in Dubbak mandal.

Satyanarayana reportedly collected Rs4.30 lakh from one victim and Rs1.50 lakh from another over the past year. As the accused began making excuses for the delayed job placements, the victims, Aitha Varaprasad and Bakolla Ashok, demanded the return of their money. In response, Satyanarayana allegedly threatened to harm them if they continued to call him.

After Varaprasad filed a complaint, the Siddipet One-Town police took action, arresting Satyanarayana, who was found to be in possession of several fake identity cards.
