Hyderabad Job Fraud Racket Busted, 4 Arrested in Marredpally

In a significant operation, the Task Force (North) team, in collaboration with local police, arrested four individuals involved in a job fraud racket in Marredpally on Tuesday.

The suspects are accused of deceiving 13 job aspirants by promising them positions at renowned software companies, ultimately defrauding them of Rs 26.2 lakh. The gang issued counterfeit job offer letters from reputed companies, leading the victims to believe they had been hired.

The arrested individuals were identified as:

G. Pavan Kumar
B. Revanth
B. Rajiv Reddy
S. Sudheer
During the raid, police recovered Rs 5.6 lakh in cash, mobile phones, and other valuables totaling Rs 6 lakh, which revealed the scale of the fraudulent operation.

The suspects targeted job seekers aspiring to work in top software firms. According to investigators, Pavan Kumar and his associates collected personal information and payment from candidates seeking jobs through backdoor methods. After gathering candidates’ documents, Pavan forwarded them to B. Revanth, who posed as an HR Manager of a reputable company. Revanth conducted fake telephonic interviews, assured job offers, and collected additional fees.

After receiving payments, Revanth passed the candidates’ details to B. Rajiv Reddy, who created fraudulent email accounts posing as top software companies. He then sent fake offer letters to the candidates, convincing them that they had been selected for the positions.

Additionally, Pavan Kumar also sent counterfeit job offer letters. For each successful scam, Pavan paid Rs 10,000 in commissions to Rajiv Reddy, Revanth, and Sudheer.
