Huntsville Murder Suspect Jerry Ingram Pleads Guilty to Manslaughter

Huntsville resident Jerry Ingram, 20, pleaded guilty to manslaughter in October after being arrested two years ago for the fatal shooting of Jaylen Hill on Pratt Avenue. Ingram’s sentencing is scheduled for Wednesday morning, with a pre-sentencing investigation ordered by the judge. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, but authorities say Ingram and Hill were visiting a friend at the time of the incident. Ingram, currently free on bond, is expected to receive his sentence soon.
