Huntsville Man Frank Lamont Robinson Arrested for Drug Trafficking

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Frank Lamont Robinson, 57, of Huntsville, was arrested after a traffic stop on Monday, when officers discovered drugs in his possession.

According to Huntsville Police Department (HPD), officers initiated a stop around 2 p.m. for a failure to signal. During the stop, the officer made contact with Robinson, the passenger, and the driver. After further investigation, probable cause was established, and the vehicle was searched.

Robinson was asked to step out of the vehicle, and during the search, officers found drug paraphernalia. A subsequent search of the passenger side of the vehicle revealed 2 grams of fentanyl, exceeding the threshold for drug trafficking under Alabama law.

Robinson was arrested and charged with drug trafficking.
