Incident Details
On February 27, Hudson Police were alerted to a social media livestream showing an individual brandishing a firearm. Working with the Southbridge Police Department, officers identified the suspect as a 17-year-old male who did not have a valid FID card (Firearm Identification Card).

The next day, on February 28, around 1:30 p.m., Hudson officers executed a search warrant at the juvenile’s residence. During the search, two other juveniles inside the home became aggressive toward the officers and attempted to provoke a dog to attack them.

As officers tried to de-escalate the situation, one 14-year-old suspect physically assaulted an officer.

Meanwhile, Jessire DaSilva, who was present at the scene, was asked to remain outside. Officers later observed her taking a juvenile’s phone while he was being detained, leading to her arrest.

Seized Firearm and Ammunition
During the search, officers found a fully loaded 9mm Taurus GX4 handgun with several rounds of ammunition inside the 17-year-old suspect’s room.

Legal Proceedings
DaSilva and the three juveniles were arraigned in Marlborough District Court. Due to juvenile privacy laws, court proceedings for the minors remain closed to the public, except in youthful offender cases.

Police Statement
Chief DiPersio commended the officers involved, stating, “Their commitment to proactive policing plays a crucial role in keeping our community safe.”
