Hubballi Police Bust Cyber Fraud Ring, Three Arrested

In a significant operation against cyber fraud, Hubballi police have arrested three men—Nikhil Kumar Rowney and Sachin Bola from Delhi, and Nigam from Mumbai. Two of the suspects are software engineers, while the third is a cloth merchant.

Reports indicate that the accused were skilled in coding and decoding, having established numerous fake bank accounts across the country. They deceived the public by illegally transferring funds from victims’ accounts.

Authorities have confiscated mobile phones, laptops, and various documents from the suspects. Additionally, the police have ordered the freezing of their bank accounts, which contained approximately Rs 60 lakh.

The Cyber Economic and Narcotics Crime (CEN) police from Hubballi conducted the arrests and have presented the trio before a magistrate for further proceedings.
