On February 22, workers at a road construction site in Shillong successfully apprehended a homeless man identified as Jerry Pakyntein (38), who was reportedly caught in the act of attempting theft at Mahavir Park, Jhalupara.
The workers noticed Pakyntein’s suspicious behavior and quickly detained him before alerting the authorities. The police are now investigating the incident further to determine whether Pakyntein has been involved in other criminal activities in the area.
