Authorities have apprehended two main suspects involved in defrauding a woman of approximately Rs 65 lakh in Sirsa city, under the pretense of offering high returns on an insurance policy.
The arrests occurred in the Delhi region, following crucial leads gathered by the police. The accused have been identified as Himanshu, son of Narendra Kumar from Baba Colony, Delhi, and Rajan Kumar, son of Gopal Ram from Chhatarpur, Delhi. Both suspects have been presented in a Sirsa court and placed in police custody for three days.
The case was registered at the Cyber Crime Police Station in Sirsa on September 27, 2023, prompting an investigation. According to police reports, three additional suspects connected to this incident have already been arrested.
