Hershell Kyle Pirkle Arrested for Identity Theft and Fraud

ROME, GA – Hershell Kyle Pirkle, 36, was arrested this week after authorities say he pretended to be another person and transferred $7,200 from a victim’s bank account into his own.

Alleged Fraudulent Transfers
According to reports, the unauthorized transactions took place between May 11 and May 14, 2021. Investigators identified Pirkle as the suspect and charged him with:

Felony theft by taking

Identity theft fraud

Arrest and Charges
Pirkle was taken into custody and now faces serious felony charges related to the financial crime. The investigation remains ongoing.
