Haubstadt Man James Mclean Arrested for Meth Trafficking

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – A Haubstadt man, James Mclean, 68, is in jail without bond after Evansville Police officers caught him with methamphetamine and cash during a traffic stop.

According to the affidavit, police pulled Mclean over for a traffic violation and asked for consent to search him. Mclean admitted to carrying meth, leading officers to search his vehicle, where they found more meth and hundreds of dollars in cash.

Mclean reportedly told police that the drugs were his and that he buys meth in bulk.

Traffic Violation – Failure to Signal
Mclean was transported to the Vanderburgh County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
