Haryana Police Arrest Woman Drug Supplier, Seize 18.43 gm Heroin

A significant drug bust took place in Kharkhoda when the Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau (HSNCB) apprehended a woman drug supplier, identified as Mamta from Thana Khurd village. The police recovered 18.43 grams of heroin from her possession during a successful operation near Matindu Chowk.

According to SI Jaibeer Singh, Incharge of the Rohtak unit of the bureau, the police team, led by ASI Rohtas, was on a routine patrol near Matindu Chowk when they received a tip-off about Mamta’s involvement in drug peddling. The informant revealed that she was actively selling heroin on Barona Road in Kharkhoda.

Upon receiving the tip, the team swiftly acted, apprehending Mamta and conducting a search in the presence of a gazetted officer. The heroin was found in her possession, leading to her arrest for drug trafficking.
