The number of arrests in Britain related to the murder of businessman Ardian Nikulaj has risen to four. Among those apprehended is 28-year-old British citizen Harriet Bridgeman, accused of being an accomplice in the execution of Nikulaj in Shengjin. Bridgeman was arrested in the UK, and her extradition to Albania is forthcoming.
The arrest follows a coordinated effort between Albanian and British police, which enabled the capture of suspects based on shared intelligence.
In addition to Bridgeman, three others—Edmond Haxhia, Stephen Hunt, and Thomas Mithan—were arrested in an extensive operation just a day after a request was made by Albania’s Ministry of Justice. The Albanian State Police continues to work closely with their partners to locate and apprehend two additional individuals connected to this case.
