Hadleigh Ruth Olson, a 22-year-old woman from Clarkfield, MN, was arrested on March 21 in Sioux Center, Iowa, on a fifth-degree theft charge.
The arrest followed an investigation where Olson was caught on Walmart’s security video failing to scan items at the self-checkout and then leaving the store without paying.
The Sioux Center Police Department responded to the incident, which led to Olson’s arrest around 6 p.m. on Friday, March 21. Further legal proceedings are expected to follow.
