Gwalior Police Arrest Notorious Two-Wheeler Thief Bhubaneswar Singh in Agra

Bhubaneswar Singh, a notorious two-wheeler thief operating in the Gwalior-Chambal region, was arrested by the Gwalior Police in Agra on Sunday night. Singh had been the mastermind behind a string of bike thefts in Gwalior, Bhind, and Morena districts, where he and his gang would steal expensive motorcycles, dismantle them, and sell their parts in Agra, Uttar Pradesh.

Singh’s operations had been a cause of concern for local police for months. He and his accomplices had been stealing high-end motorcycles and breaking them into parts to sell, making it nearly impossible to trace the stolen vehicles. The Gwalior Police had been working relentlessly to track him down, and after receiving a tip-off, they launched an operation to apprehend him in Agra.

Singh, a resident of Gwalior, was identified as the key figure in a complex network of vehicle thefts. The police had previously arrested several members of the vehicle theft gang in Shatabdipuram, Gwalior, who revealed that they had been selling the stolen bikes to Singh in Khushiyapur, Agra. Once in Singh’s possession, the stolen motorcycles were dismantled, and the parts were sold separately, which helped him evade detection.

When the police raided Singh’s house earlier, he had managed to flee, but they were determined to catch him. A special team, led by SI Ranveer Singh, was deployed to track him. On Sunday night, Singh finally returned to his residence, and the police took immediate action to arrest him.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that Singh primarily targeted motorcycles from rural areas and used a sophisticated method of dismantling the vehicles. His ability to break down and sell individual parts made it difficult for authorities to trace the stolen bikes.

The police have registered a case, and Singh is currently being interrogated for further details about his operation and the identity of other gang members involved. His arrest has brought some relief to the local community, who have long been troubled by the growing number of vehicle thefts in the region.
