Gurpreet Singh, Surjit Singh, and Hardeep Singh Arrested for Mobile Tower Battery Theft

The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested three individuals for their involvement in stealing batteries from mobile towers. The accused have been identified as Gurpreet Singh, Surjit Singh, and Hardeep Singh, all of whom are residents of Nurpur Chatha village.

The case came to light after a complaint was lodged by Pawan Kumar, a resident of Basti Danshmandan, Jalandhar, who reported that the suspects had stolen batteries from mobile towers of leading telecom companies, including Vodafone, Airtel, and Idea.

Following the investigation, the police registered a case under the relevant sections of the BNS Act. The trio has been taken into custody for further questioning. The authorities are continuing their efforts to uncover more details regarding the thefts and possible connections to larger criminal networks.
