OLDSMAR, Fla. — Grissel Flores Nistal, 54, was arrested after being caught on surveillance video stealing a Black Headed Caique bird valued at $2,400 from Everything Birds, located in the Oldsmar Flea Market. The incident occurred Saturday morning when Nistal entered the store, removed the bird from an interactive display, and concealed it in her purse before leaving the store.

After the theft, Everything Birds posted images of Nistal from the surveillance footage on social media. Two anonymous tips identified her, leading detectives to her Largo home.
