Graham Joines Jailed for Smuggling £2 Million in Meth

Graham Adam Joines, 29, was sentenced to eight years in prison for attempting to smuggle £2 million worth of crystal meth through Manchester Airport. He was caught by Border Force officers after arriving from Iceland on July 17. The drugs, originally acquired in Mexico, were hidden in his luggage. Joines had attempted to import them via Canada and Iceland. Alongside the smuggling charge, he was also sentenced to an additional one year and four months for unrelated offenses.
