Gordon Grigg Indicted for Identity Theft and Sex Crimes

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Gordon Grigg has been indicted by a grand jury on charges of identity theft and multiple sex crimes. Police allege that Grigg posed as a life coach to target and exploit his victims.

In addition to the recent indictment, Grigg faced federal prison time for a Ponzi scheme he orchestrated in 2009, as reported by federal prosecutors.

This week, we spoke with one of Grigg’s victims from the Ponzi scheme, Steve Wieland, who now resides in Florida. Reflecting on the betrayal, he said, “When I found out, it’s one of those things that will eat you alive.”

The new indictment details shocking allegations against Grigg, including attempts to solicit an undercover agent for inappropriate acts involving two children, one of whom is under the age of eight. He is also accused of trying to engage the agent in sexual activity with a dog.

Before Grigg’s upcoming trial, Steve Wieland had a chilling message for him: “I want him to know I want him to die a slow, very, very painful death. And know when he finally dies, there’s a creature named Beelzebub that’s gonna be right there.”

As the case unfolds, the community watches closely, awaiting justice for the victims affected by Grigg’s actions.
