Golaghat Police Arrest Drug Peddler Raja Ali with Heroin Seized

An anti-drugs operation was carried out on Monday under the leadership of the Additional SP (Crime) of Golaghat, along with officials from the Chungajan PS, Naojan Out Post, and the Cyber Cell team. Acting on secret information, the operation took place at the No. 3 Naba Betoni Bridge in the Sarupathar Police Station area.

During the operation, Raja Ali, a 26-year-old drug peddler from Sarupathar Town, was arrested. Police sources revealed that Ali, son of Taj Ali, was found in possession of 10 soap boxes containing 105.73 grams of heroin. The heroin was seized, and further investigations into the drug trafficking activities are ongoing.
