Goa Police Bust Rs 100 Crore Investment Scam Led by Myron Rodrigues and Deepali Parab

The Goa Police have recently uncovered a large-scale investment scam involving a staggering amount of over Rs 100 crore. The scam, allegedly orchestrated by Myron Rodrigues and his wife, Deepali Parab, deceived multiple investors with promises of high returns from stock market investments. Instead of putting the money into the promised investments, the couple reportedly used the funds for personal expenses.

As of now, 38 victims have filed formal complaints, revealing a total amount of Rs 23.21 crore that was fraudulently obtained. However, authorities suspect that there are more victims, and the total sum stolen may be much higher than the reported Rs 100 crore.

The accused, Myron Rodrigues and Deepali Parab, are alleged to have used false assurances of stock market gains to lure investors into a trap. The investigation is still ongoing, with police working to uncover the full extent of the fraud and identify additional victims.
