Goa Police Arrest 28-Year-Old Bengaluru Man with Rs 1 Lakh Worth of Ganja

In a significant drug bust, Goa Police arrested Mohammad Rehan, a 28-year-old resident of Bilal Nagar, Bengaluru, on Wednesday for possessing ganja near Panaji. The Crime Branch conducted a raid near Monte Guirim Ground in Guirim village, located in North Goa district, where they seized 1.02 kg of ganja from Rehan’s possession, valued at approximately Rs 1 lakh.

Rehan was arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, which governs offenses related to the possession and trafficking of illegal drugs. The authorities are continuing their investigation into the source of the ganja and any potential connections to larger drug trafficking networks.
