Ginnell Gibbs & Lakendra Scott Arrested in N. Charleston Robbery

Dorchester County, S.C. (WCSC) – The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two women in connection to a strong-arm robbery and assault in North Charleston.

Deputies responded to reports of an active altercation around 10 p.m. on Saturday near 212 Shagbark Trail. Upon arrival, they found the victim and gathered statements from witnesses, leading to the identification of two suspects: Ginnell Gibbs and Lakendra Scott.

Gibbs has been charged with strong-arm robbery and third-degree assault and battery by mob, while Scott faces two counts of criminal conspiracy. Both suspects are currently being held at the L.C. Knight Detention Center as the investigation remains ongoing.

Authorities continue to review the case and urge anyone with information to come forward.
