George Mosley Arrested on Sex Trafficking Charges in Scottsdale

SCOTTSDALE — George Mosley, 31, was arrested on December 10 for sex trafficking charges following an investigation that stemmed from a fraud case earlier in the year.

In July, Mosley was initially arrested for fraudulent activity at a Scottsdale hotel during a police surveillance operation. Officers observed Mosley leaving the hotel with a teenage girl. Upon investigation, they discovered the girl had been reported as missing from out of state, and police assisted in returning her to her family.

This led to further investigation by Scottsdale’s Human Exploitation and Trafficking (HEAT) Unit. Police determined that Mosley had been sex trafficking the teen across multiple states. A search of Mosley’s temporary residence uncovered additional incriminating evidence.

Mosley was booked into Maricopa County Jail on 20 felony charges, including sexual conduct with a minor, illegal enterprise, and money laundering in relation to his involvement in the trafficking of the juvenile victim.
