Lyons, NY — A Geneva man was arrested for petit larceny after allegedly stealing items from Kinney Drugs in Lyons, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested 26-year-old Joseph M. Gonzalez on Sunday night after he was accused of stealing Mountain Dew and candy bars from the store. The incident occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m., investigators reported.
Gonzalez was taken into custody and later released with an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Lyons Town Court on March 4 at 8:30 a.m. to answer the charge of petit larceny.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into the incident.
