Geeta Lamani, Prema Lamani, Manjula Lamani & Mohammed Mustafa Arrested for Theft

In a significant breakthrough, Mapusa police arrested four individuals connected to a theft at Vision Hospital. The accused, Geeta Lamani (22), Prema Lamani (20), and Manjula Lamani (26), are said to have broken into the hospital’s storeroom. They made off with various scrap materials, including plumbing items, electrical components, air conditioning spares, and medical equipment.

In connection with the theft, Mohammed Mustafa, 40, was also apprehended. He is suspected of being involved in the scrap material trade related to the stolen goods.

The accused face charges under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The police are continuing their investigation into the matter.
