Gainesville Man Faces Drug Trafficking Charges After Cocaine Seizure

A Gainesville man is facing multiple charges, including trafficking cocaine, after authorities discovered nearly 50 grams of cocaine and other drugs at his residence.

According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, a search warrant was executed Thursday morning at the home of 33-year-old Jesus Hernandez Andrade on Kenwood Drive. During the search, officers allegedly seized 47 grams of cocaine, 126 grams of marijuana, two handguns, scales, and baggies.

Although Andrade was not present at the time of the search, he was later charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of marijuana.

Andrade turned himself into the Hall County Jail on Monday afternoon. He remains in custody without bond as of the latest update.
