On Saturday, Dec. 28, two Pamlico County residents, Gabrielle Alexis Armstrong, 30, and Jeramy Wayne Lewis, 40, were arrested following a traffic stop on U.S. Hwy 70. The Craven County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Bureau, supported by the K9 Bureau, stopped the vehicle the two were in.
A search of the vehicle revealed around 7.7 grams of fentanyl, along with various items of drug paraphernalia. Both suspects were charged with multiple drug-related offenses.
Gabrielle Armstrong’s Charges:
Two counts of Trafficking Opium/Heroin
Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance
Felony Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling for Controlled Substances
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Armstrong was held at the Craven County Detention Center with a secured bond of $1,000,000. She is scheduled for her first court appearance on January 2, 2025, at 9:00 AM in Courtroom #4.
Jeramy Lewis’ Charges:
Two counts of Trafficking Opium/Heroin
Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance
Felony Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling for Controlled Substances
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Lewis, too, was taken into custody and held on a $1,000,000 secured bond, with his first court appearance scheduled for the same day, January 2, 2025, at 9:00 AM in Courtroom #4.
