Michael Storm Mullett, a Fulton man, was sentenced to 21 years in prison after pleading guilty to a series of fraudulent activities that defrauded customers, family members, and associates.

On Tuesday, Mullett, 45, was convicted of 16 charges, including forgery, fraudulent use of a credit card, identity theft, and felony stealing. The charges stemmed from his operation of Meadowlark Outfitters, LLC, a store in Fulton that sold guns, ammunition, and outdoor sports accessories. Mullett was found guilty of stealing over $750 from customers and engaging in identity theft.

The investigation into Mullett began in May 2023 after complaints surfaced from individuals who had made purchases from Meadowlark Outfitters but never received their items. Further investigation revealed that Mullett had been using fraudulent tactics, including the purchase of firearms and credit card fraud, to exploit his customers and even family members and associates.

In addition to the 21-year prison sentence, Mullett was ordered to pay restitution of $119,344.92 to the victims of his crimes.
