Fresno Man Guadalupe Corrales Arrested for Stealing from Church

A Fresno man, 38-year-old Guadalupe Corrales, was arrested for stealing electronics from a church, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO).

On Wednesday morning around 7:00 a.m., deputies assigned to patrol Courthouse Park observed suspicious activity involving a man carrying a video camera, laptop, audio interface, headphones, and a tripod. The man, later identified as Corrales, was walking near the Superior Courthouse when deputies approached him.

Upon further investigation, deputies discovered that Corrales was on probation and that the electronics in his possession had been stolen from a church located near North Abby Street and East McKenzie Avenue. The deputies worked alongside local police to return the stolen items to the church.

Corrales was subsequently booked into jail on charges of burglary, possession of stolen property, and probation violation. FCSO confirmed that he is not currently eligible for bail.
