The police action was prompted by a complaint filed at South Delhi’s Cyber Police Station. According to reports, the victim attempted to purchase 25 air conditioners listed on OLX and was convinced by the scammer to transfer Rs 2,00,000 as an advance payment in four separate transactions on April 27.
