Four Vallejo Men Arrested for $1.5 Million Retail Theft

FAIRFIELD – Four men from Vallejo, wanted for stealing approximately $1 million worth of merchandise from Ross and another $500,000 from a different retail store, were apprehended in Fairfield. This occurred when police observed two of them exiting a store with a shopping cart filled with stolen items.

On December 22, during “Operation Christmas Thieves,” officers spotted the men leaving the store without paying for the goods. Police quickly stopped the vehicle they were using, where they found all four suspects.

The men have been identified as 27-year-old Gregory Carson, 36-year-old Tavani Cole, 29-year-old Nehmia Hatchett, and 34-year-old Rashad Brown.

While being booked into the Solano County Jail, the Vallejo Police Department recognized them as suspects in the recent thefts. They were subsequently charged with their outstanding offenses. Authorities also believe they might be involved in thefts reported in Concord.

Additionally, two other individuals were arrested during the “Operation Christmas Thieves.”
