Four Rajasthan Residents Arrested in Coimbatore Online Scam

Coimbatore city cybercrime police have arrested four individuals from Rajasthan for their involvement in an online scam that defrauded a Coimbatore-based man of Rs9.28 lakh. The arrests were made after a detailed investigation by the cybercrime unit.

A police team led by Cybercrime Police Inspector P.A. Arun arrested the suspects—J. Sathyanarayanan (30), K. Kisan Choudhary (20), K. Sunil Saran (23), and P. Sandeep Kumar (26)—from Jodhpur in Rajasthan on August 22.

According to the police, the accused used fraudulent means to deceive the victim through an online scam, luring him into making payments that ultimately led to the loss of Rs9.28 lakh. The arrest marks a significant breakthrough in the case, with authorities continuing to investigate the full extent of the scam and any further connections.

The police are urging the public to remain cautious when engaging in online transactions and to report any suspicious activity to prevent further incidents of fraud.
