Four Arrested in Tarn Taran for Heroin Trafficking and Seized Motorcycles

Tarn Taran police arrested four individuals involved in heroin trafficking, recovering a significant quantity of heroin and impounding two motorcycles used in the crime. The arrested individuals have been identified as Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi (19) and Baljeet Kaur (32), both residents of Muthiaval village in Tarn Taran, Maninder Singh (34) from Bhikhiwind, Tarn Taran, and Harpreet Singh (26) from Lodhi Gujar village in Amritsar.

In a well-coordinated operation, police teams intercepted the suspects and seized the heroin they were trafficking. Along with the drugs, the authorities also impounded the two motorcycles that were used by the accused during their illicit activities.

The police have registered a case and are further investigating the individuals’ involvement in the broader drug trafficking network. The authorities have stressed the importance of curbing the illegal drug trade in the region.
