In a major breakthrough, the police in Srikakulam arrested four individuals, including K Dileep Kumar, for the brutal murder of his pregnant wife, K Meenakshi, a week after the crime took place. Dileep Kumar, along with his friends M Ravi, V Dasu, and T Bhanu Prasad, was charged with the murder.
The body of 28-year-old Meenakshi was discovered near the R Karapadu railway gate in Kaviti Mandal, Srikakulam district, on March 28, 2025. Authorities confirmed that Meenakshi was murdered under suspicious circumstances, and an investigation led to the arrests.
According to the police, Dileep Kumar had been harboring suspicions about his wife’s fidelity, which ultimately led him to take this extreme step. The couple had a three-year-old daughter, and Meenakshi was reportedly pregnant at the time of her death.
The accused were arrested after police uncovered evidence linking them to the crime. They have been taken into custody, and further investigation is ongoing.
