Four Arrested in Kadappura Sameer’s Murder Linked to Ilyas’s Death

The police have arrested four individuals involved in the murder of Kadappura Sameer, which took place in Kallapu. The investigation revealed that Sameer’s death was a retaliation for the 2018 murder of Ilyas, orchestrated by Mohammad Naushad, Ilyas’s brother-in-law.

Sameer, while talking on the phone near a commercial complex in Kallapu, was attacked by a group of assailants in a car, who brutally assaulted him with a sword, targeting his head and neck. The police later confirmed that Naushad, who had witnessed Ilyas’s murder in 2018, was the mastermind behind Sameer’s killing.

Along with Naushad, other suspects—Niaz from Natekal, Tanveer from Bajal, and Iqbal from Padubidri—were arrested. Initially, the murder was suspected to be linked to a gold robbery, but the investigation clarified it was a revenge killing. The police are continuing their investigation.
