Four Arrested in Enfield Retail Theft Operation

Four suspects from New York City were arrested in Enfield, Connecticut, on Wednesday as part of a coordinated effort to tackle store thefts in the local shopping district.

Miguel Manon (29), Melvin Ramirez (37), Josefina Beltre (43), and Deyanira Sanchez (34) were apprehended during the operation, which was conducted by the Enfield Police Department in collaboration with the Connecticut State Police retail task force. The authorities also worked with store loss prevention teams to track and catch the suspects in the act.

The four individuals were charged with third-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, possession of a shoplifting device, and organized retail theft.

Each suspect’s bond was set at $10,000.
