Four El Paso men have been arrested after four high-end Porsche 911 sports cars, worth over $1 million, were stolen last week. The cars were taken from an unspecified building in Central El Paso on Wednesday, March 12. However, thanks to quick action by the El Paso Police Department’s Auto Theft Task Force, along with support from the Central Tactical Unit, the stolen vehicles were recovered within just six hours.
The suspects arrested in connection with the theft and their charges are as follows:
Corey Dana Reed, 37: Charged with theft of property over $300,000. He remains in jail with a $300,000 bond.
Milton Castilleja, 36: Charged with theft of property over $30,000 but under $150,000, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of having a prohibited item in a correctional facility. His bond is set at a total of $109,000.
Juan Reynaldo Ochoa, 43: Charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and criminal trespass. His bond is set at $8,500.
Luis Miguel Ubieta, 42: Charged with possession of a controlled substance. He was booked on Wednesday and released on Thursday with a $2,500 surety bond.
Investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the theft, and details about how the cars were stolen have not yet been released.
