Four Arrested in Drug Bust at Paducah Hotel

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. — Four individuals were arrested on drug-related charges following a bust at a Paducah hotel on November 13. The arrests came after McCracken County detectives, working with U.S. marshals, discovered illegal drugs, including fentanyl and methamphetamine, inside a hotel room.

Benjamin Bates, 26, of Paducah, was arrested on multiple charges, including first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first-degree trafficking in methamphetamine (less than 2 grams), and possession of marijuana. Authorities also found drug paraphernalia in his hotel room, alongside suspected fentanyl pills, burnt foils, syringes, and a digital scale.

Stephanie Sexton, 26, also of Paducah, was arrested on charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. She was reportedly staying with Bates at the same hotel.

Autumn Lynn, 40, from Golconda, Illinois, was apprehended on a fugitive warrant and charged with possession of a controlled substance, along with drug paraphernalia. Lynn was found in the hotel room along with Bates and Sexton. She was later transported to the Williamson County Jail by U.S. marshals.

Jeremy Stevens, 43, of Metropolis, Illinois, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after he was found at the hotel during the search.

Detectives confirmed that a search warrant was executed at Bates’ hotel room, where authorities found evidence linking the suspects to drug trafficking and illegal substance possession. The investigation is ongoing, with warrants now issued for Lynn and Stevens.

The bust highlights the continuing efforts by McCracken County law enforcement to combat drug trafficking and possession in the region.
